  Garasu Lodge was amazing! The view of the bush was spectacular, and there was even some hiking trucks nearby that we really enjoyed. The rooms were spacious and fulfilling our needs. The only downside was that we were a family of four sharing one bathroom! Jutta was extremely helpful and showed us the sauna, tennis court and spa. Would definitely recommend others to come here!

  A friend and I stayed at Garasu Lodge for three nights and what a wonderful experience it was, the Lodge itself is incredibly kitted out with everything you can need from shampoo to washing powder. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and nibbles and a friendly welcome from our wonderful host Jutta, who is also an accomplished sculptor with her own studio on site. The spa and sauna were well used by us over our stay and was just the ticket for relaxing and enjoying the tranquil surrounds of the Lodge. We were close
  within driving distance, to plenty of interesting places to visit if you can drag yourself away from the peacefulness of the hinterland position, I will definitely be booking here again, and doing the onsite course in sculpture. Other than food/drink and your clothes you don't need to bring anything, there are two bedrooms, air conditioned, washing machine and dryer, fully equipped kitchen and outside BBQ area. Spa and Sauna, tennis court, lots of privacy, really just the perfect spot to wind down from the hectic world we live in today. Thank you Jutta and Andreas for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

  This place is absolutely amazing , we love everything about our stay , from the moment you walk on the property , the beautiful artwork , to the scenery to the accomodation itself is so well presented and comfortable, It is so tranquil and relaxing. Our host Jutta is so lovely , we stayed here for our wedding and on our wedding night we came back to beautiful flowers and chocolates and the table set for breakfast such a lovely touch to our stay. The sauna and spa is such a bonus. We would rather stay here than in a stuffy hotel.

  Positives: We stayed in August 2017 for a wedding in Mudgeeraba. We liked the quiet, scenic location of Garasu Lodge. The bottle of complimentary champagne was a lovely touch. The hosts were friendly.
  
  Negatives: We have stayed in many air bnbs and this one pulls up in thr average category. Perhaps the main reason for this is you have to pay extra for the spa and tennis court. The photos are deceiving as the place is quite small. There is limited kitchen equipment and no basic cooking items like salt and pepper. The cleanliness of the place was okay - but there were bugs on the toilet floor, and dust collecting around the place. Probably not the best value for money and needs more attention to detail.

  Currently staying here while I write this, unfortunately here for a loss in the family, but this place is so comfortable and homey that it softens the blow of the loss. So many extras here with an extremely helpful and welcoming host. so, so thankful for the gated and fenced areas that keep the dogs secure without having to worry about them. Air con to keep you cool or warm and a fireplace that has starters, kindling and timber ready to go, they have thought of everything.
  Highly recommend staying here because it is so peaceful and quiet that you can very easily forget how close you are to the gold coast and Brisbane. Also perfect for a spot of bird watching.
