I am in my early 30s and I LOVE being size 10 and getting back into the summer dresses.
Marc is my personal trainer at the Healthy Lifestyle Clinic and when I first turned up, I said: I just want to have fun. If I dont have fun, this is not going to last.
Well he gave me a goal and within 4 months I had done something I NEVER thought possible.. finished my first mini-triathlon.
Plus I used to have a really, really rounded shoulders. Marc has showed me how to strengthen my core muscles & back with specific exercises just for me. Now I have really improved and I noticeably stand better.... this was something as a professional that he was quietly working on each visit.
And I have done it the healthy way, so I will never, never go back. The truth is that I still weigh exactly the same (which does not matter) because my body shape has changed radically. And I did no weights - I was adamant I did not want bulky arms.
Marc showed me how to have a healthy lifestyle, I now bike ride and have learnt how to run. Yes I can actually run 7km without stopping (this in itself is amazing). Before I HATED running with a passion, now I have the strength and right technique, it is much easier.
Marco has me planned to do the Olympic Distance Triathlon in Noose Oct 09... oh my God ... he has to be crazy?!? But you know, to say I have actually completed one of them would be fun, so I am going to keep trusting him.
Plus, he mixes it up - one week in the studio, next at the running track, next at the beach. The variety is good.
P.S. When Marc was away a few times, I did a session with Simon, he taught me to box. (Yep, box... you know punch) So now I have that little bit more self confidence to personal security too.
